Sommerfield Stables is proudly operated by Margrit Black and Linda Satterfield, and is where horses and people (as well as dogs and cats!) receive an earnest level of care and attention.
Margrit Black
A dedicated and knowledgeable trainer, rider, and stable manager, Margrit has a B.S. Degree in Equestrian Studies. In addition to teaching and training at Meadow Lane Farms for 6 years, she also owned and operated Stepping Stone Farm for 23 years - a 30 acre horse facility that provided training, lessons, horse shows and summer camp.
Linda Satterfield
A veteran in all things horses, Linda is also facility operations extraordinaire, and the behind-the-scenes mistress of the Sommerfield Stables universe. Anything you want to know, ask Linda, and she'll have an answer. Except for maybe where you left your riding helmet...
